The main consider was how we express the moon; the name of the restaurant, XENRI NO TSUKI means the moon light for thousands hometowns.  The light must be warm but not too bright just like graceful moon.  One of our solution was to erase the shape of light equipment so that we may concentrate more on light itself.  3 meter cubic boxes wrapped with black clothe were applied to the black naked ceiling.  Once the light was turned on, the huge boxes were gone to dark sky and only the gentle moon light has appeared.

店名にもある「月」という言葉を意識してコンセプトをまとめた。どう月と向き合うか、それが一番の課題でした。天高４Mのスケルトンの中、けして視覚には出しゃばらず一見とてもプレーンな明かりは、真っ黒な生地で巻いた３メートル角の巨大な箱を天井から吊し制作した。箱の内側へ意識を集中させる事で光源から溢れてしまう余分な厚みを押さえ明かり自体に浮遊感を与えるよう試みた。
